The Vedic view of the cosmos is of a universe of consciousness, light and energy.
Tantra’s aim is to yoke ourselves with that light through the sacred fire ~ AGNI.
Agni in Vedic thought means ‘fire’ and on a more subtle level, the power of transformation.
The Vedic concept of Agni extends to all aspects of light, life, intelligence and consciousness. It reflects the inherent light giving power at the very ground of existence.
An understanding of Agni is key to the Vedic view of life, evolution, health, well-being and liberation.
In our soul or essence, we are a flame of Divine light and aspiration. Agni represents the individual soul or divine consciousness within us that is hidden in the body like fire latent within wood. The individual human being is a manifestation of Agni as the universal power of life, light and consciousness and it is through Agni, that we can understand and transform our karmas.
Agni is the guiding force in the universe, the innate cosmic mind or intelligence of nature. Agni represents the inner guide and guru, which is the guiding flame within us, seated in our inmost heart and core of our being.
THE CONTENT
Over two days, we will understand and ignite the sacred fire through traditional Tantric Hatha practices from the Himalayan tradition. These practices will include āsana, Prānāyāma, mudra, bandha, Kriyā, mantra & ritual. We will hear myths and stories from the tradition, learn about the hidden mechanics of karma & dharma and how they might present themselves in our lives. We’ll study Tantra as a lineage tradition, it’s modern misconceptions and the truth of it’s potential. We’ll learn how Agni seeks to empower us inwardly in order to manifest our highest potential. We will work with the many different forms, aspects and levels of Agni, in body, mind and consciousness, nature and the Godhead.

Kundalini ~ modern myths and ancient wisdom
Agni from an Ayurvedic viewpoint and it’s role in our gross and subtle bodies
Mantra study & recitation
Fire offerings and rituals (inner & outer)
The key to mastering prāṇa
How to use Agni to move beyond our karmas with will, motivation and aspiration to the higher truth
Live with self trust, willpower & self-determination

Parking available on site
Tea/Coffee and snacks will be provided on both days. Please bring your own lunch. Fridge available on site.
This is a two-day immersion. Both days need to be attended.
*This is not a retreat or over night stay. However, there is the Manor, Basket Range very close by and Air BNB.s should you wish to make a weekend out of it.
